  1. You will need to get a reservation in advance, and they are open from 8:00-4:00. Call 415-705-5436, or hail them on VHF16.

  2. Depending on the weather conditions, there can be quite a swell, even in the marina. Check the marine forecast or call the marina to find out how rough it might be. Maybe pack some Dramamine, just in case.

  3. When the wind whips up in the afternoon, it can get quite chilly. Be sure to bring some warm clothes.
