FROM A PASSION FOR BOATING TO A LIFE'S WORK
Chris Simpson began his yacht brokerage career on the California Delta in 2000. After gaining valuable experience in the marine industry, Chris and Amy Simpson established Simpson Yacht Sales in Stockton in 2000.
What began as a family business built around a shared entrepreneurial spirit grew through years of dedication, industry relationships, and a commitment to treating clients with honesty and respect.
In 2003, the company expanded through the acquisition of Antioch Yacht Sales. In 2011, Simpson Yachts established its home at Discovery Bay Yacht Harbor, strengthening its connection to one of Northern California's most active boating communities. Today, Simpson Yachts & Boats continues to evolve alongside the boating industry, representing traditional motor yachts, express cruisers, and modern adventure boats.

With more than 25 years of yacht brokerage experience and a lifelong enthusiasm for boating, Chris Simpson brings extensive market knowledge and practical experience to every aspect of the business.
Having participated in more than 600 successful yacht transactions, Chris understands the complexities of buying and selling boats—from evaluating market conditions and negotiating offers to coordinating surveys and managing transactions across long distances.
His professional background includes serving as Past President of the Northern California Marine Association and as a board member of the California Yacht Brokers Association.
Chris has represented buyers and sellers throughout North America and has experience coordinating international yacht transactions.
His philosophy remains straightforward: provide honest advice, communicate clearly, and build relationships that last beyond a single transaction.
